Machine Operator – Structural Steel Fabrication

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our structural steel fabrication team. This full-time position offers competitive pay, steady work, and the opportunity to operate advanced equipment supporting large commercial and industrial construction projects.

As a Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as CNC drill lines, beam lines, saws, plasma tables, press brakes, and other automated machinery. Your role is critical to ensuring material is processed accurately, efficiently, and safely to meet production schedules.

Responsibilities:

Operate structural steel fabrication equipment according to shop drawings and production schedules
Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and work orders
Set up machines, adjust settings, and monitor performance
Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and tolerance compliance
Conduct routine maintenance and keep equipment clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

Experience operating industrial or CNC equipment (steel fabrication experience preferred)
Ability to read a tape measure and interpret shop drawings
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
